We have organised The Week of Languages for many consecutive years without interruption. This year, some volunteers together with our Language assistant teachers have given some talks or conducted some games in order to motivate our students and give them the chance to take part and get involved in some activities in English. They have been organised and conducted by native English speakers from England, Alaska, USA, Canada and India.
Some students read the beginning of Cervantes' "Don Quixote of La Mancha" in 14 different languages:
Spanish, Chinese, Romanian, Portugueses, Arabic, English, Caló, Latin, Greek, Italian, Dutch, French, Urdu and Hindi.
We want to thank all of them.
And, of course, we also thank our volunteers Diane Scales, Summer McGuire, Janet Martin, Kathy McCaffrey, Arpan Rathi and Nitish Saxena.
